As your therapist I assist you in navigating whatever challenges and changes life has brought your way. In a safe and supportive environment we work collaboratively to discover your unique path towards new possibilities, emotional harmony, and more rewarding relationships with your self and with others.
My specialty is helping clients identify and transform barriers that get in the way of possibilities for creating positive change in life. I assist adults, adolescents, and couples with, for example: anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, eating issues, stress/burnout, emotional issues related to physical health and illness, loss of motivation/inspiration, teenage issues, parenting support and more.
Counseling is an effective way of facilitating change in our personal lives and relationships, and the relationship with your therapist is a significant part of the counseling process. So, it’s important the therapy relationship feels like a good fit and you feel comfortable and safe. You are always welcome to contact me with any questions about counseling. I also know practitioners in many therapeutic and healing modalities in Portland, and am familiar with a range of resources available in the community.
